register online or in store?

I noticed that if you reg online, at least with target-almost nothing is avail in stores.  Did you guys reg in store or online?

You can do both... I'd go into the store and set up your registry, then you can peruse online later on, and add anything that you missed or is available online only.

We're doing both online and in store registering.

I'm planning to do both - I want to do initial setup in-store, so I can get a look at items first hand, and then I'll supplement with online items.

Both, but I actually started mine online so they couldn't screw up my address/login/names/etc. like one store did for our wedding. Then I just went into the store and gave them my name and was able to add items.

We did ours in the store.  I have found that many of the items online aren't available in stores and in my family most people won't buy stuff online if they can go to the store.

I set up my registry online already and plan to go into the store and add to it for BRU. I only set it up to store big decisions we make so far (like stroller, car seat, etc) but I figure then I can go add stuff to it around 18 wks.

I only registered at Babie's R Us and I did most of it online (these were things that I new I wanted certain brands of i.e bottles, pacifiers etc...) then I finished it off with DH at the store.

That's what I did too.  I like having it set up online so I can add things easily when I think of them and go back and change things along the way as needed.

I started our BRU registry online, but finished it in store.  Target was started in the store, but I've added and deleted things online since then.  I have tried to stay away from the 'online only' items.
