letting a friend borrow some CDs?

How would you go about this?

I have a friend who I know is interested in CDs and wants to learn more about the kinds I have.

I think it would be easiest to let her borrow a few to try them on her LO.

Have any of you done this? How specific are you with them about laundry routine and detergent?

I figured I could give her a baggie of a few scoops of my CD-safe detergent and a little note explaining my wash routine.

I would personally love that! It's one thing to research it online and watch videos, but to actually try it out would just be...well it would be awesome.

I've been a bit wary of this, myself.  I've thought about it, but one thing or another has kind of stopped it before it's ever happened.  I would probably do it if the situation was right (one was long distance, and I never heard back from her about her DD's size, and the other - just not sure she'd dig the used diaper deal).

Anyhow - if I were to do it, I'd be very specific on wash routine - or at least detergent and making sure that they didn't use too much, no fabric softner/dryer sheets, etc.  I'd also mention to stay away from non CD friendly rash ointments.  I think giving some of your detergent is a great idea.

I let them do whatever with them. I can make it right when I get them back if I need to. We do a lot of diaper switching in my group of friends, so it would be annoying to be really specific about detergents since we're already doing our own routine with diapers.

The way I look at it is that the worst that can happen is that I need to strip them.  No big deal and it's worth it to try.
