Have any of you ever been to one?  I want to have one but my friends are wierdos lol by that I mean they act like sex is so dirty and anything like that is so strange.  Ive mentioned having one before and a couple of them were like oo that sounds kinda wierd.

My mommy group is having one tonight.  They call them Brown Bag parties.  I'd feel weird buying a vibrator or dildo or something like it in front of a bunch of other women, but maybe I'm a prude. 

ETA:  I'm really not a tightass, but that's not my kind of thing.  I'd be more likely to order something online. 

I'm not sure how I'd be able to look someone in the eyes if they bought a huge veiny dong either.  Just me.

My SIL has them all the time, but I've never been. ?It would be too weird to be around her and my MIL buying that type of stuff!?

I went to one. It was definitely a little uncomfortable at first, but a few drinks and some jokes and everyone loosened up.

The ways ours went- they showed you the goods in a group, gave you a catalog and you went to a private room with the woman who runs the party to place your order, so no one else there knew what you ordered (or didn't order!). Then everything comes to you by mail, I think. At least that's how ours was...?

Ours are called Brown Bag parties b/c what you buy goes in a brown bag and you can choose whether or not you want to show anyone what you got. 

I can just picture someone with the tip of something coming out the top of the bag

They are so much fun. It's not like you place your order in front of everyone. Also, the consultants are usually on the wacky side, which makes it fun!

I cannot imagine going to one with my own mother--or worse yet, my MIL! Blech!
