REOM

I know how it can sound that he wants to bring food and I am annoyed.  The jerk part is b/c he is very self-centered (about many things) but in this situation b/c he told me that I need to worry less.  He tells me the day before the party that he is bringing food when they already asked if I need anything or if they can bring anything and I said I had it all covered.  The food is venison (which I would never eat but needs to be cooked on my grill with I already told him a few days ago that I did not have room for on the grill), beef sticks (same as above), wings (which I specifically told him a few days ago that I would not let DH make wings b/c I did not want more on the grill although these are apparently being served at room temp) and fish (which I was told needs to go on my grill which I have no room for with a sterno which I already told him I am not using sternos.)  Of course he can cook it all after OUR food is done on the grill but I totally see him wanting to use the grill when we get home and are trying to get other things cooked.  And my other issue is that if something is being served at my house it needs to be enough to serve everyone and I pretty positive that he planned on just making a little bit of fish - I really think he is clueless that we are having 35 people and thinks it is just the usual people (about 15).

I guess my biggest issue is that he asked me a few days ago what I was cooking and the way he asked was as if he wanted to know if it was good enough for him (I realize I sound nuts saying this, lol) and then today he basically told me that he will be bringing his own food.  One thing would have been totally fine but 4 entrees?
