Hey ladies, I wanted to start building up a supply of diapers for when LO gets here & was curious if you could advise me on where the best prices are. ?I have heard that the grocery store isn't always the best. ?We do have a Costco membership but I haven't priced diapers there compared to other places. ?Thanks!
?
Re: cheapest place to buy diapers?
i would not stock up very much - you never know what size your baby will wear, or for how long - or what diapers will work best for your baby... some babies get rashes from certain brands... some have blow outs/pee outs from certain brands, etc.
any diapers you do buy- tape the receipt to the box so you can return if they aren't right for your baby.
I love Costco kirkland diapers- but they do not make a newborn or size 1. We use mostly huggies for the boys right now with the occasional pampers if i find a good sale + coupons.
We bought two dif brands- one pack of each in newborn size... good thing because my LO grew out of them quickly and we decided which brand we liked better. I wouldnt stock up.. .maybe get a couple packs of 2 or 3 dif brands so you can see what works well for you.
We buy ours at BJs... they are the best prices for us and we always use a coupon! HTH
We too buy our diapers at BJ's! It is a good idea to buy at a wholesale club when you nail down exactly what you want or which ones work best for your LO! And a lot of times, BJ's will have Pampers brand coupons in their coupon books! We have saved a lot of money that way! And not to mention, manufacture coupons can be used as well!
But try a lot of different brands til you find what works best for you and your LO!
