NTR: Class Reunion centerpiece ideas

I have recently been put in charge of the centerpieces for my 20th (yes, I'm old) HS reunion, in Sept.    I've found a lot of cute ideas online and have thought of a few myself, but thought I'd ask you creative ladies if you had any ideas.  This is what I've found so far, not sure what I'll use yet.  We're thiking of using something different on each table.

Print out the class picture and make confetti out of the picture on your computer. Sprinkle it around on the tables.

Collect old shoes from the time you graduated. Platforms, saddle shoes, whatever reminds you of the time. If they look really old, get them bronzed and put them on a mirror to accentuate the "Golden Oldies". You can put flowers in the shoes hidden in baby food jars (the Dollar stretcher)  You can stack up old books and put the shoes on top.

How about making a time capsule for each table, with small objects from the year of graduation, such as peace sign necklaces, incense, tape cassettes, 45 records, love beads, etc. The History Channel at
https://www.history channel.com could yield stories about the year of graduation that could be included. Xeroxed yearbook pictures, glued onto colored cardboard could also help fill out the capsule.

Get cheap frames in different sizes, from the dollar store or a craft store and paint in school colors.  Put photocopied class pictures, in the frames
.

I also thought of using candy from the 80's and putting it in a vase, for one of the tables.  Things like, candy necklaces, candy cigarettes, etc.

 TIA! :)
