Toddler hair salons?

Hi!  My DD needs her bangs trimmed badly and I want to take her somewhere to get it done (I'm not even going to try getting that close to her face with scissors).  Does anyone have suggestions for somewhere in the Murphy/Plano/Allen area?  I've found Cool Cuts for Kids and Kids B Kids online but I don't have a clue whether they are good or not.

TIA!!

  • I take my 2 1/2 yo to Snip Its.  It's in the Walmart shopping center at Ohio and 121.  (Next to Game Stop.)  I love that place and so does my son.  He won't sit still anywhere else.  They are a bit pricey, as is any toddler/kids salon, but it's worth it.  They are even great at fixing bad haircuts that Mom's give their own kids!  LOL.

  • I use Snip Its as well. Outrageously expensive but Emma screams bloody murder when she gets her haircut and they are used to dealing with that so I guess it's worth it. They will do a bang trim only for $7.99 if that's all you need done.

  • Tony and Guy will cut her bangs for free, you just tip. I would go during the week though so you don't have to wait.
  • Cool Cuts for Kids is the only place my son will sit and have his hair cut.  They have TVs for the kids to watch cartoons or play video games and for the little ones, they have cars they sit in while getting their hair cut.  It's like $17-18 for a total hair cut, which I think is great considering I couldn't do it :)
  • DS gets his hair cut at Kool Kutz(s) as well... He loves it!! And I love it because they only charge me for a trim since he has very light, fine hair and I usually just need his "wings" clipped from over his ears.
