Your experience with Reglan?

Last night I had to go to the urgent care center for IV fluids.  The doctor there gave me a perscription for Reglan (my doctor has thus far refused to perscribe me anything even though I throw up many times a day...)  I took the pill last night and this morning and I'm starting to feel better.  Just wondering if anyone else is using Reglan and what your experience has been?

No expierience with it, but just a BOO to your Dr for not helping you with it and it getting so bad you had to get an IV!! Hope you start feeling better soon!!

I've seen a lot of people on it with good results, although I have not personally taken Reglan (I'm on everything else though, hehe.)

Sometimes people start to feel jittery/anxious on it, so if you do, you would need to stop taking it since that's one of the adverse effects. If you don't feel that, you're fine though. 

That really sucks that your OB won't put you on anything. I'm not even vomiting and my RE rx'd Zofran and Phenergan for me because I was miserable. I would personally find a new OB, because that's_shitty, and a sign of things to come.

I am on Reglan three times a day and Phenegran at night.  I lost about 12 pounds from morning sickness in two weeks. Reglan helped me more than Zofran because of some side affects.  I do go to the doctor once a week and get IV fluids and stuff just because I still struggle to eat.  I agree with pita BOO on your doctor for not giving you any help. Reglan does seem to help and I here is just depends on the person.  Hope that helps and if you have more questions just PM me. I have been on Reglan for two weeks now. Good Luck

I was on Reglan up until yesterday (switched to zofran) Reglan actually worked really good for my nausea but I had adverse affects and was VERY jittery. If you feel jittery or restless call your doctor immediately. It even tells you that on the pill bottle. hope it helps you.?

Be CAREFUL with Reglan!!! If it is taken too much it can cause muscle issues...there is a huge lawsuit going on right now because of it
