xp: ladies in the Phoenix/Gilbert area

besides the zoo, can you recommend some family activities? we are making our yearly trek out to Gilbert to see the in-laws. Now that Izzy is old enough to do things, i'd like to keep her busy while we are there :)also, anyone interested in a GTG? I will be out there sept 21-27.

I definitely recommend the Children's Museum of Phoenix .  Somewhere on their site there is a coupon too.

Otherwise, I am stumped myself and we live here. 

Have fun and go to a pool as often as possible.  If I remember correctly the public pools are closed on Fridays though so keep that in mind when scheduling pool outings.

We took DS to the Phoenix Botanical Garden while visiting my parents earlier this year.  It was more of a "sit in the stroller and walk around" kind of place, rather than a "run around and look/touch/feel stuff" place.

You could try rolly polly's. It's like a kid gym. They also have some splash parks. But, I don't know where. That's just stuff my family who lives there does...

There's a Bounce U in Gilbert (Gilbert and Warner I think) that my friend used to take her son to a lot at this age.

The Chandler Mall has a great kid play area. DD had such a blast there last time we were out visiting my family!

There's also a cute farm in Chandler that is great with kids.. I know they have pumpkin picking, hay rides, animals to pet, etc.. I think it might be
