    stuckonyou.biz has great labels for clothing and bottles.  Dishwasher safe!  I love them.

    We just bought one of those label maker things that you type into and print. The labels have stayed on DD's bottles and caps since 8 weeks. For clothes we put that medical tape over the tagless "tag" and write her initials on it. It will usually last a couple of washes.

    I haven't labeled clothes, and they haven't said anything. When I used to have to label bottles (the place DD goes now does it for us) I just used masking tape and wrote on it with a black marker. It got the job done and was cheap!
