Pregnant after a Loss
New EDD and a Heartbeat!
Hi ladies. I just got home after having my follow up u/s and a yummy lunch with DH. I had some mild cramps and a tiny bit of brown spotting last night and heavier brown spotting before the appointment.
The u/s tech said baby is measuring perfectly from last week's u/s. I could not believe my ears when she said that little flicker is the heartbeat! I had a few tears roll down my face. I didn't get to see this with my first pregnancy. Then she let us hear it! What a beautiful sight/sound! FHR was 126. DH was in the room and was very sweet. I'm so glad he was there.
The tech was so sweet and congratulated us several times. She gave me 4 pics! Then I met with my OB really quick (she had a patient in labor). She was thrilled and said it looks like this one's gonna stick! I love her - I'm so glad to have a great OB. DH is also really impressed by her and that is saying a lot.
Oh, I almost forgot...my new EDD is 3/23/10.

It was 3/16/10 at first and now it's 3/23/10 so a week. That makes sense, because now I'm sure I ovulated late.
