my sister's cat that is still just a kitten (11 months) just batted at Claire's foot that is dangling from her swing. no scratches or anything, but geez cat!!

Just wait until Claire is running around and in the way.  We have a very ornery male cat and Orion has had quite a few war wounds on his legs from getting in his way.  We have to make a big display of putting the cat in time out for hitting when he swats.
