Tacky?

My shower is coming up at the end of August. The new BRU coupons came out and was thinking about forwarding them onto my mom, MIL and Aunt. Some of the things we've registered for are reflected on the coupons. I don't want to assume they'll buy stuff, but would like to have them save money if I can!

Re: Tacky?

  • If it's just your close family, I say go for it. Don't send em off to the other guests, though.?

  • Can I suggest sending them to one person (maybe your mom) and then she can tell anyone else who might be interested that she has them? This way it isn't directly from you.

    Yes

  • I just got the BRU email and was wondering the same thing!  I'm going to forward to mom and let her decide.
  • I think that's fine for people very close to you.  I'm actually doing that.  My mom and grandma 'claimed' a couple of the more expensive items off the registry, so when I saw the coupons I called and asked if they wanted them.  They said yes, and my mom even asked if I had an extra rewards card that she could use so I could get those points and additional coupons.  I got three (two keychains and a regular card), so I'm sending one her way.
