I just want to cry

Seriously, I just want to break down right now!! Dr orders were to stay off my feet and no housework or anything- but of course, if I don't do it, it doesn't get done!!!! So what am I supposed to do?? My house is a mess and I can't take it anymore- it is stressing me out beyond belief. I don't understand why dh doesn't understand and help out even just in the slightest amount.....

    Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry.  Maybe you need to sit your DH down and have a talk with him about why it's so important that he help you out.  Some men really suck at taking a hint about housework, I know my DH is awful about it.  ((HUGS))

    I went through the same with my DH when I was on bedrest.  My bedrest didn't last very long, but had it lasted even a few days longer, I would have called a cleaning service.  If they choose to be lazy, then they can pay the price.

    Most guys just don't care what the house looks like, at least mine doesn't.  Now when he runs out of clean underwear, it's another story.  Stick out tongue  Try not to stress about it.  Enjoy your time relaxing and maybe your H will get the hint and start helping!!

    Oh honey, don't cry, just tell DH that if he doesn't do the exact list of what needs to be done (yes write it clearly out for him) than he has to hire a maid to come. Simple as that.

    Do you have family or a friend that could come by and help out.  I understand about wanting DH to step up and do it, but if he isn't giving you everything you need, I wouldn't hesitate about calling in reinforcements!

    1st pregnancy: m/c began 1/12/09 d&c 1/13/09 8wks. Baby stopped growing at about 6wks.

    Delaney: Born 10/15/09

    Gavin: Born 4/8/11

    Baby #3: due July 10, 2014

    You and me both girl!  I'm not on bedrest but anytime I do anything more than just walk/sit my back tightens up and kills like nobody's business.  Sorry Bethany...

    AW! *Hugs you tight* I know how you feel! my DH is really horrible about subtle things. I agree, you should sit down with DH and discuss things. I hope everything works out!

    oh no! I missed that you were on bedrest! what happened?! I'm sorry DH is being a jerk. I hope you can sit him down for a friendly chat, or tell him he has to get a maid in there to help you out. (hugs)
