My son is 17 months old and weighs 25 pounds. He has been wearing Pampers sized 5 diapers for a few months now. Recently, he has started to soak through his diaper at night. I figured he was ready for a larger sized diaper now, but my friend's 3 year old girl still wears a size 5 diaper, and she weighs about 30 pounds or more. Do you think that I should buy 6 diapers, overnight diapers, or what? TIA!
Re: Size 5 diapers??
For overnight diapers, I buy a size bigger than what my DS wears during the day. My DS is currently wearing size 4 during the day and size 5 in overnight diapers. Also, I have heard from many Mom's that Huggies diapers work better for boys and Pampers work better for girls. We use Pampers during the day for my DS, but Pampers overnight diapers leak so we use Huggies Overnights and have nenver had a leak. GL!
I am a huge fan of the huggies overnights. DS is 16.5 months and also weighs 25 pounds. He wears a size 5.
I have found this to be true. Pampers just don't work for DS.
DS is in size 4 Huggies and not ready for 5 yet. He drinks a ton during the day and sleeps 14+ hours a night and is soaked when he gets up. I am going to get Huggies Overnights today for him.
