Pregnant after a Loss

How much did you or will you pay for your Crib?

Were looking at the Munire Majestic and we got a price of 599.00 for it and was wondering if it was a good price or not.  Also, have you ever seen the Munire on sale they told me in the store that they never go on sale.

  • We're eyeing the Gulliver (I think that's the one Baby Bargains gave an A - from IKEA) which is $100.  $600 is way out of our budget but if it's in your budget and you like it, go for it!

  • We got ours from JcPenny for $400

  • We got ours for about 600 too, all i know is the set with changing table/dresser was 900 something and it was on sale. We got the Cocoon 1000 series. I do not know about Munire sales though...sorry.
  • Our crib was $499 and it was on sale. The dresser was $499 as well and the combo dresser/changing table was $450. We saved about $400 getting it on sale. Not sure about the Munire sale thing - I know the place I got ours just about everything was on sale and I believe they carry Munire???? This set will last the kid until he leaves home, so I didn't mind the cost so much - and my parents bought it for us, so that helped too! Stick out tongue
  • I ordered Munire (Urban) and your price sounds about right.  My little boutique type shop we ordered from did have a slightly lower price than USA Baby and they had a special if you ordered 2 or more pieces... we got our conversion kit free.  So kind of a "sale."

It seemed liek a lot of money but it was a furniture investment in my eyes.  This is her furniture until she goes to college :)

  • My crib was $450 from JCPenney, plus another $150 for the conversion rails so $600 total. I say if it's what you like and it works for you then go for it!

  • I'm thrifty and could never spend that much on a crib. We ordered ours from Walmart.com for $200. It's nice and will do the job!

  • We're looking at 2 Munire cribs and both are around 600. I think if you go to a specially baby store you're going to see prices like this for cribs. We did see a very beautiful crib while we were there and it's ticket price? 1200! We won't be getting that one.

  • We got the Baby Mod Cadence (also sold as Davinci Kalani) from Walmart. It was $220 and we're really happy with it. The kit to convert it to a full size is $50.

  • We got the Babi Italia Pinehurst lifestyle crib in expresso from BRU last October for $399, not including the conversion rails for the toddler bed and full bed.
  • We spent $160 on the Graco Lauren from wal-mart and so far I'm pretty impressed with how nice it looks...

  • The one I want is at Target and is $289

  • I got the Munire Newport, same price, love it and am definitely happy with my decision.  They rarely go on sale.
  • We got the Baby Cache Oak Heritage Crib for $430 and then it was another $200 for conversion rails.  The dresser was around $440.  I had a 20% BRU coupon that I was able to use on that.  It saved me over 100 dollars, which was great.

  • We got a Romina crib and spent about $650 on it.  Yes, kind of ridiculous in my opinion when there are perfectly good cribs out there for half of that.  We actually saw one at Wal-mart we like just as much for half the price.  So, to answer your question, we spent a lot more than I think we probably needed to.  Good luck!

  • My MIL bought us the Graco Lauren crib for about $160 from Target.  Seems like a good one!

  • We paid $300 and it was from Wal-Mart, made by BabyMod. I thought that was pricey since I was originally looking at IKEA cribs, but I'm pretty frugal.
