Freaking out-is this normal?

I'm about 17 weeks and have had a total freak out moment. Up until last night/this morning I had a hard noticiable bump. By noticable, I mean that I could also feel it as I moved around-it was a little sore and uncomfy but nothing major. Today I just don't feel it. I can feel my uterus but it's not hard and I don't notice it as I move. This is the first time this has happened since it all started feeling like this a couple weeks ago.

Anyone have any insight?

All I can tell you is that I have days where my bump is much harder and pronounced and others where it seems softer and not as big. I don't know if it's normal or not, but I have had the same experience and so far everything is good.

Same thing.  Some days my bump is harder than others- and the baby's perfectly healthy!

I think what's weird is that I dont' feel that pressure/discomfort I usually do. Does anyone have that come & go?

I would say that it was probably the position of the baby changed.
