DH and I are spending the weekend at my in-law's lakehouse w/ 3 other couples. None of them know I am pregnant and we plan on spilling the beans. We have a cute (or at least I think) idea for telling my in-laws. FIL retired a few weeks ago and we didnt get him anything. I plan on wrapping a framed pic of the u/s and telling him here is your late retirement present since we didnt get him anything at his party. I'm not sure how we will tell everyone else - maybe one @ a time or as a group. They all know about my m/c so I know they will be happy for us. My only concern is one of the girls who is 7 or 8 years older than me really wants a child, but they will have to conceive via IVF due to her medical history. I am really concerned about her. I know she will be excited for us, but deep down I know it will break her heart. I wish there was something I could do to make it easier for her but all she wants is a baby and I cant give that to her... Thoughts?

AW that is a cute idea!!!!
As far as the other girl, you can't do anything to make it easier, but I'm sure she would want to share in your joy. I would just be happy about your announcement and hope that she supports you. After all, she would probably hate to be treated any differently because of what she is going through....
