weird comment on LO

I dont know if she was stupid or high or what but Im at the bank and a girl is standing staring at LO in her carseat and asks if shes a premie and I say "no, shes just petite-shes 2 months" and she continues to say how she had a cousin whose baby was a premie, 1 month early..she then looks LO up and down and, expecting me to be shocked, says.."he was even smaller than that when he was born!" I said oh wow when what I really wanted to say is "she was also smaller than this when she was born?!" then she also shares with me how she cannot wait to have her own kids but shes only 19 so she has plenty of time...because I care?

I haven't been asked if DD is a preemie - but I've gotten several "oh wow, that's a little one or that's a new one!" comments (along with the I can't believe you have her out in public look) when we've been out and about lately. Then they always seemed shocked when I tell them she's 2 months old. She's just around 9lbs. and is only 21" long though, so she's little but growing and healthy

Some old guy in walmart told me that M was a big one. She's 50% in weight. i was a little insulted.

the most recent annoying comment was on his name "oh....thats different"....thanks for telling me you dont approve of his name (from a complete stranger)...I'm sorry that I'm Greek and chose to name my son after my Greek grandfather....I know lots of Demetri's so I really dont find it that weird

i dont find demetri to be a weird name at all..people are so ignorant

Yesterday at the grocery store, we kept running into the same elderly couple in every aisle.  The lady kept muttering something about how if she "disinfected her hands, could she pinch his cheeks?" referring to DS.  Um no lady, you cannot pinch his poor little cheeks no matter how clean your hands are.

Everyone always feels the need to tell me that Logan is huge.  Yes thank you I am aware of how much he weighs as I am the one carrying him around, yes I realize he is big for his age but have you seen his father because he is also not a small guy at 6'3".  So thank you for your concerns about my big baby but he is doing just fine thank you.  People are dumb

The 1st time I took DS out in the moby I was at Wal-mart and as I was waiting for DH to get something from the McDonalds there, this lady in the line kept staring, to the point it was very uncomfortable. She finally came up to me, asked about the moby, said how cute DS was and was pretty normal, then she went back in the line and continued to stare. It was really creepy. Other than that I get the "oh he's so tiny/cute" comments. They're nice at least.

When she was two months old we were at Costco and an older man came up to me, pointed his finger at DD and exclaimed " two months!!" I nodded in a scared way and he said "I should know. I have 12 of my own. and 65 grandchildren."

?I didn't know what was worse. His random pointing at my child or the fact that he populated an entire small town.??
