Progesterone Suppositories?

I was prescribed progesterone suppositories, and I am nervous about using them (I was taking it orally, but it made me very sick).  They look like a white bullet.  So, do I put the whole ?white bullet? up there?  Does the casing just dissolve?  What is the casing made of?  What does it look like when you pee after one has dissolved?  Sorry for the TMI questions, but I have never used anything like this and the prescription didn?t come with any instructions other than ?Insert Vaginally.?  I did use one last night, but I was definitely  freaked out by it.  Thanks!

I took progestrone suppositories with my DS (this time I am taking orally)...you do insert the entire pill, the casing will dissolve...

since it is inserted vaginally it doesnt change the look of your urine. but you can expect more discharge, I would suggest wearing a panty-liner while you are taking it. It is defintely messy, but it serves it purpose!

Yep. And grab a couple extra liners for your purse.

I'm on Endometrin and it is definitely messy. Pantyliners are a must, and many days I go through 2-3, but I'm also on 3 suppositories per day, due to being PG with twins.

I am on Endometrin as well and it is a suppository but in pill form. ?You insert the whole thing. ?Like the other ladies said... you need plenty of panty liners. ?Some of it will come out and it feels like you are bleeding so it is a little nerve racking! ?I hear that it is a great help to build the uterin wall... I take it twice a day due to miscarriages in the past ?Many many women take them so don't be nervous!! ?Just another great thing that women have to go through... ha ha ha. ?Good luck!

i am also on the vag progestrone supplements.  they are kinda messy but just dissolve.  def recommend a pantyliner.

I have them. they aren't that big of a deal. it's just that the discharge is pretty nasty. that's the only thing i don't like about them. mine are yellow though. and sometimes when i pee i can see that some of the casing or the meds come out too. You'll be ok with them.
