Spotting after stopping Progesterone?

I am getting closer to the point where I no longer need the prog suppositories. I am a little nervous just to stop cold turkey, so I have gone from twice a day to once a day. However on the days that I do just once a day, I spot later in the day. Everytime. Then I get nervous and go back to twice a day.?

Is it normal to spot after stopping the supps? ?

I've had spotting in this pregnancy but not when I stopped the progesterone.  Have you told your doctor?  Maybe they can test your levels once you stop to make sure you are okay?

I've had spotting but it was while I was on the progesterone still. I just stopped on weds though so maybe I will have some spotting again soon. My doctor said not to worry about it though unless it's suddenly different from the spotting I've been seeing.

I had one day of brown spotting when I stopped the progesterone supps...The OB said it was a withdrawal bleed like happens with birth control and not to worry.
