Insomnia anyone?

Wth is going on with my sleep?? Up until about a week ago, I slept just fine. Now, I cannot stay asleep, either because I'm woken up by odd dreams or just for no reason at all. DD is STTN and I'm not!

Anyone else experience this?

Re: Insomnia anyone?

  • Yep.  Exact same thing.  It's starting to wear me down since DD only takes 20 min naps during the day.

  • This is me as well and DD no longer naps durning the day. Ugh. I'm getting so exhausted yet I can't sleep.

This is what I'm worried about. DD only takes 20-30 minute naps, max. Ugh. I worry about ppd setting in because of lack of sleep.

  • Hey! I'm still up, but Harper hasn't gone to bed yet. Her bedtime as of late has been around 2am (and then she sleeps through the "night").

It looks like you went to bed though :(

I think I'm headed down that road pretty fast here... I even took two Unisom tonight at 9pm when I started to feel a little sleepy but I only stayed asleep until 1:30am.  That's a record for me for the last few weeks.  Now I have a massive headache though.  Argh.

  • Yes-DS is now only getting up twice a night and DH usually gets up with him, so I'm getting much more sleep.  I don't think my body is used to it so some nights I'll go to bed and lay there for 2 hours.  By the time I fall asleep I have to be up an hour later to pump.  It's frustrating when LO is cooperating and DH is bending over backwards but your body isn't cooperating.
