lol. STFU and go back to babygaga then! Stick out tongue

  • Seriously though, I'm completely curious.  I lurked during my tri days b/c I was terrified of being flamed.
  • I don't want to ask a buch of questions that have been asked a billion times before. Also sometimes i don't have much to say.

  • I lurked more than posted up until recently, mostly because I found the answers I was looking for in other people's posts, and I was too afraid to butt in on the "regulars". Now I've pretty much lost all my hang-ups.

Thank god, because I still loooove Lily's "Dr. Evil" face.

  • I have started to post more lately, but by the time I get on in the evenings most people are off because of the time difference. I also don't like to respond to a post saying the exact same thing as every one else. And like PP I sometimes don't have a lot to say or add, so I just read the posts.
  • I am no longer a lurker....I will be posting more now :). I was a lurker for a while because I couldn't remember my old name and password. So I created a new one and after two days of waiting I can finally post on here. I think you ladies are awesome and with some great information to give out. I hope I do not become one that is hated:)....I seem to think I am pretty nice so that won't happen :)
  • I don't have a lot to say...and it seems like whenever I have something to say, I get interrupted and then I forget what it was I was going to post. ?

The very first time I posted on ttc/gp I was flamed and Its just never been the same for me since. I am sensitive and I know it makes no sense being that this semi-anonymous, but thats just my experience.

    I totally understand.

  • I used to post a lot more (when I was still pregnant), so I was lurking a lot since I'm horrible at one handed typing and I'm usually too tired to say much :) Now that DD is mostly sttn and I'm not as zombie like I've been trying to lurk less.

  • Can't post much from iPhone :(
  • I mostly lurk.. i post when i have a question or something to add.
  • growth spurt = slave to pump = one hand typing.
  • it's not my board.

  • I lurk via my crackberry and posti from it is a real pain in the ass. By the time I can get to the pc the question has already been answered or addressed. I'm in Cali so by the time I have both hands free everyone is gone.
  • DH asked me this the other day.  He thinks there is no point to coming on here if I'm not posting.  I just don't want to say the same thing over again!  I try to post when I actually know something.
  • I was on alot during my 3rd tri and posted then too but after I had my LO I didnt go on the computer that much.  Now I am back at work...lol.

    This.

  • Let's see...

1st tri I was scared of miscarriage, and thought posting would jinx me.

2nd tri lurking was working for me, so it just seemed easier

3rd tri...heck I had already lurked for seven months why stop now?

0-6 mos-now it's just embarassing to admit to lurking for nine+ months, plus you ladies ask/answer nearly all of my questions so I have just continued (I will make an attempt to post more).

I only post when I have something to contribute and it's burning inside me.

But most of the time, I come here for sheer entertainment value. Sometimes it's more fun to sit back with the popcorn and just watch it all unfold!

  • I only post when I have knowledge, or interest in a subject, not just for the sake of posting or to make friends or to be mean to others.  I feel the boards are for sharing info/opinions, not for flaming,  or status, or whatever it is that drives people to be so mean to others, which ultimately limits the information shared...
