what do hiccups feel like?

i'm having trouble feeling movement and kicks b/c of an anterior placenta.  but sometimes i get this steady feeling of like a rhythmic thump/tap.  is this what hiccups feel like?  the taps are very close in timing though, almost like a slow heartbeat.

    Sounds like hiccups to me. My Dh and I were sitting in bed the other night and our little had the hiccups. She had them for like 5 minutes or so. It was so cute. I was glad Dh was able to feel them from the outside.

    Yep! I was surprised by how quick they are, not lots of time between each hiccup like I experience. Its so cute though, makes me laugh!

    So I get this more like bubble feeling (sort of like when you open a soda bottle that fizzy sound) 3 times in a row for like 5 secs and it stops. Does that sound like hiccups?
