Implantation spotting with first and 2nd pregnancy?

Did you have implantation spotting? Did it happen with your 2nd pregnancy too?

I had implantation spotting with my first pregnancy, I was certain AF was coming and she never did! Now 3 years later I'm TTC #2 and am spotting, again, I'm certain AF is coming, but in the back of my mind I'm grasping to the idea that it could be implantation spotting.

 Just wondering if it happens once is it likely to happen next time around?

I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy, and just had it again when we found out were pregnant.

I had it with my first and it's the reason I tested early this time.  So it happened for both of my pregnancies.

OMG, good Lord, sorry about that.

Anyway, I've been spotting for 5 days now (7dpo through 11dpo) and it started super light brown, then a little darker brown, then one wipe of bright red (thought AF had come, put in a tampon).  Took the tampon out, hardly anything there at all, back to light brown spotting and this evening it's tapered off (keeping fingers crossed the spotting is done).

I've always heard implantation bleeding shouldn't be red and usually lasts no more than a day or two.  I am worried about this... but wondered if it sounded like implantation to any of you?

I have had it with all three of my pregnancies (which so far have been great). It was different each time.  With my second I spotted off and on for like 2 weeks and finally took a test, then I had actual bleeding for 3 more weeks. 
He is now a healthy toddler.  This time and with the first one I had spotting for about 3 weeks...all different shades including bright red.  I have 2 healthy boys and am 13 weeks now.

Didn't have it with my first.  Had it with this one - it's the reason I tested really early.  Faint positive.  Fingers & toes crossed.
