I work in a office where I could be exposed to chemotherapy. So now I will be avoiding being around that. Its gonna be really hard to hide that fact and I dont want my boss to think I am slacking not doing my job. But at the same time I told him when I had an e/p and it really sucked having to tell him when I lost it. (I dont plan on telling the rest of the office till 10-12 wks). So I am torn.
Re: When did you tell your boss?
I am starting a new job so I won't be telling any work related people for a while. With both of the previous pgs I never told either. I had to tell my boss about m/c #2 when it happened though because I had to call in and it was a very important project day that I couldn't normally have missed.
If you work around that kind of stuff you should probably tell your boss ASAP. I think she is not allowed to tell anyone else though...it violates HIPAA privacy laws.

Yes, I agree with Jen. I don't plan on telling anyone at work until 12 weeks.
I just told my boss this week. I only told him because I'll need to leave for b/w and appointments, or in case I feel sick and need to go home. I trust him 100% not to tell anyone. I don't plan on telling anyone else in my office at all. They'll figure it out once I start showing. I hate being asked personal questions at work.
