Pregnant after a Loss

Does Tums help?

I am thisclose to going over to CVS and getting some.  My reflux is BAD.  I haven't taken anything this pg, though, so I'm a little wary (even though I know Tums is supposed to be totally fine, and even my mw said I could take it).

If you have bad pg-related reflux, does Tums help you?  I don't want to bother if it's not going to do anything.

Re: Does Tums help?

  • I like the sugar free orange tums.  They helped last pg as well.

  • I live on tums!  I think they are a lifesaver.  My doc said they are 100% safe and take as many as you need :-)  Feel better!

  • I eat a ton of Tums and they do help quite a bit.  No reason to be in agony - get some Tums!  Besides, they have calcium in them so they're good for you.

  • Oh yes, Tums are wonderful.  I keep forgetting to put a baggie of them in my purse for emergency heartburn.  I hope they help you.
