Pregnant after a Loss

lets talk moisturizing....

i know nothing really prevents stretch marks but as far as soothing dry stretchy skin what do you use? if i can take a bath i'll pour palmers oil into it otherwise i mix it with whatever body lotion i'm in the mood for, i also love the oil gel from vaseline it can be sticky but leaves a nice sheen & smell like coconut my lil grab bag from OB had palmers lotion which is nice before bed since it absorbs fast

Re: lets talk moisturizing....

  • I am using the palmers oil and cream line...i am almost out of the oil so I am considering the bio oil to switch it up....my husband hates the oil and calls me "greasy belly" when I use it:)

  • One lotion I love is Banaboat's Coconut Lime after sun lotion. I used it alone up until last week and now I'm using that and Palmer's.
  • I use the Palmer's Cocoa Butter for stretch marks lotion.  I'm not a huge fan of how it smells but it feels nice.  The belly butter made me break out in a rash however and I didn't like how thick it was anyway.  Also it has not helped me prevent stretch marks at all seeing as how I am already covered in them.  It does make them hurt less as they're formed and makes my belly itch less.  I hate my skin Stick out tongue

  • I've been using Curel's Pregnancy and Motherhood lotion. It's really moisturizing and feels great, plus it absorbs quickly.

This is what I use and I agree, the smell is ehh. But it does feel nice!
