I am thrilled to be on Team Pink. I have always wanted a daughter. And since DH already has a son this is something that is a first for both of us. Baby was head down and curled into a ball. She refused to move even after 15 minutes with the t/v wand (that was fun). They couldn't get a good spine measurement because she was so curled up so they have to try again when we go back in a few weeks for our fetal echocardiogram.
Re: Back from my big u/s!
Laura- I am so glad it went well! I know what you mean about the gender. I wanted a healthy baby first and foremost. Second on the list was my wish for a son. I soooooooooooooo wanted a lil boy! It wasn't something I told many people (other than DH and my mom) but I was thrilled after the u/s to find out he was a he!
Congratulations! Now go get started picking out all of that fun nursery stuff!
What a great post. Congratulations on your sweet baby girl!
Why is she getting a fetal echo? Does she have an SUA? I only ask because my "B" just had one a few weeks ago because of an SUA.
So happy for your news!
Kari
Congratulations, Laura!!
Now you're SURE she's a girl, right? Just checking, since she was so stubborn with the spinal measurement. ;-)
Seriously, congrats on your little girl. Wonderful news!
EDIT: And what is your boss going to think of this? You broke his streak!!!

Robyn- they were able to get a pretty good money shot that even I could tell what it was. She just wouldn't stretch out, you'll see when I change my siggy pic. My boss will be crushed that I broke his streak, but he's the one who picked wrong...lol.
Kari- DH was born with a hole in his heart so that ups the risk for my LO. It is just a precaution.
Precautions are good. Sounds like you're in good hands!
Congratulations - and welcome to Team Pink!!!
That's HILARIOUS!!!
Congrats to you!
