Pregnant after a Loss

not feeling too many kicks

for the past day or so I have not felt that many kicks....should I call my doctor or see how today goes?  I think I may have felt one but I have been busy at work and can't concentrate on her kicks....thoughts?

Re: not feeling too many kicks

  • I wouldn't worry too much at this point. My LO was really quiet yesterday, and is pretty active this morning. Movement isn't consistent until about 28 weeks.

  • I'm right there with you. I have been feeling a lot of kicks and movement the last few days and since last night, not nearly as much. Of course I have the added stress that my cat jumped on my belly last night - so now I'm paranoid that it hurt the baby. But really I know they say that up until about 28 weeks movement isn't constant and can be sporadic. So I'm sure that we're just at that point where we will sometimes feel a lot and sometimes not feel much. It doesn't make it any easier not to worry about it, but I think it's pretty normal. I have felt a few kicks last night and this morning, they just seem lighter than normal. Hang in there, I'm sure our babies are fine. Hugs
  • I freaked about that a week ago.  I went from lots of kicks to no kicks.  The girls on here all said that he had probably flipped around to face my back and sure enough when I had my u/s on Friday he was facing my back and moving like crazy-I just couldnt feel it.

I might try drinking a little caffeine or soemthing cold to see if you can get your LO moving some.  If you get really worried then call the doc=that's what they're there for.

Agree.  My LO was going crazy a few days ago, but yesterday and this morning I have only felt kicks here and there.  At this point as long as I feel something I am fine.  Once I get to 28 weeks, then I might start to worry.

  • I posted about this just yesterday:)  same thing as everyone above says and my doc said that you won't feel consistent kicks till 26-28 weeks...LO is probably just moving around in there...
