Still scratching face!

My DD continues to scratch her face, particularly around her nose and particularly at night. I feel like every time she wakes up lately, there is a new scratch. Her nails are as short as I can get them, and I don't think she would tolerate the newborn style "mittens" we used to put on her. Any thoughts? Is this still expected at almost 15 months? I thought that was more of a newborn thing? Should I worry about her being "itchy?" She doesn't seem to have a rash anywhere or other signs of allergies, like a runny nose.

Could she be teething?  My DD will sometimes get scratches on her face when she's teething because she's rubbing her face at night.  She might also be scratching at her nose if she's stuffed up or if it's itchy even if she's showing no other signs of allergies during the day.

Ahh, that's a good point! She is working on some teeth right now!
