Target GC?

I didn't register at Target but I am 1/2 contemplating building an online registy and then going up there to print it out. I just read on the 2nd tri board you get a $20 GC for registering there! Do any of you know if this is true?

Oh my gosh I don't know!  I am thinking about registering there just so I can get the completion coupon, and if there's a $20 GC too, then I'll definitely do it!  I didn't register there because it was a nightmare with my wedding registry, but since my shower invites are already mailed, no one has to know that I'm registered there but me!

I am registered there, even though I recently found out about their horrendous return policy, but I never got a GC. Hmm...

I registered there and about a week later got a welcome letter with a catalog that had a coupon for a $20 giftcard. We just had to show a print out of our registry at the customer service counter.

I know some friends received the giftcard in the welcome bag, but our store is perpetually out of those, so I guess that's why they do the mailer.

I think you need to print out your registry and take it to Customer Svc.

I know what you mean, my wedding registry was a nightmare there too!

I have started one there online, but just did it last week so haven't gotten any welcome package or gift card yet. It's funny that people had trouble with them for their wedding registry, I did not but I'm doing a baby one there because of all the HORROR stories I've heard about the BRU registries!! My sister had the most God awful experience with them and I am SO afraid of mine getting screwed up too. Unfortunately, there isn't much of an option since they have stuff that Target and other places don't have. Guess I'll just have to hope for the best!

Last PG I got a card from Target that said if I registered and brought the coupon that I'd get a 20gc. I think you have to have teh coupon to get it.

I just registered there, in store, and did not get a $20 GC.  They even printed the registry for me.  Hmmm???  I did get a cute little bag with a few diapers, wipes and lots of cupons.
