Do you hate cilantro as I do?  It tastes like soap to me.  Many a great meal has been ruined by it:(  I just saw your post about Tj's.  I have never met another supertaster, are you one also?

Butting in.... I HATE cilantro.  The flavor never tastes right.  Always too overpowering and never pleasant on the palate or in the nose.

It's not my favorite flavor but the biggest problem is that I am allergic to it.  One bite...even the littlest bit and I am sicker then a dog.  It's like m/s to the 10th power.

I don't know for sure if I am a supertaster  but I have wondered about it and talked to my dh about it.  I know that I can taste a dish and usually break down what spices are in it.  Not always but most of the time. 

But I also love to cook and dream about food and am always thinking about food and what to do next with food.  I also love sharing food with others.

It's to the cilantro herb and I get super sick.  I throw up a ton and the reaction can last for up to 24 hours.

I'm sorry:(  I can stomach the horrid taste, but it ruins your day/s.
