Ava is grinding her teeth already - anyone ask their ped/dentist about this?
Her dad does this, and wears a mouth guard at night. I know there's not much to do about it at this age (16 months) and I am not so much worried about her 10 teeth as I am about jaw issues and bad habits.
It appears to be random, and not stress. What stress? She's one. lol.
Any thoughts? thanks.
Re: Grinding her teeth already - worry?
I've noticed DS doing this from time to time and I freak out because I have grinding/clenching issues and have to wear a mouth guard. I really don't want him to suffer through the pain that I've gone through because of it.
I hope it is just a phase and not a genetic thing. Do you hear your DD doing it at night? I've never heard DS thru the monitor while he's sleeping. Maybe it is just something they do for the sound or feeling while they're teething.
