i have used snapfish, shutterfly, walgreen's & a friend of mine used mypublisher.com. all easy & turned out about the same. i am about to make one, too. GL!
I typically use Mypublisher or Blurb. I've also heard great things about Shutterfly. All have great photo quality and book quality, which is so important.
I got one Snapfish book and the photo quality was horrible IMO. I have a nice DSLR camera and uploaded the photos in very high resolution and they printed out grainy and dull. I will never use them again.
For DD's 1st year book, I went with Blurb because they have some of the most competitive pricing and they had more layout options then Mypublisher. I had around 90 pages and it only cost around $100, which is crazy good for that large of a book! It was the large sized book too, not just the 8x12 one. If you have a Costco account, mypublisher will generally give you up to 40% off, but Blurb was still much less expensive.
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
its like building a scrapbook, but online and then you can print it, have out bound in hard or soft cover - I did them for mothers day for my mom of DD first year.
I will say it does take a LOT of time if you really want to do it up, but its also quick for basics too!
