Am I weird or does anyone else feel this way?

Re: Am I weird or does anyone else feel this way?

  • Honestly no.  One of my biggest "regrets" is I didn't get to experience him being placed onto me.  We had a long labor and delivery and he was "shocked" as the dr said it and quickly handed him off for resuscitation as he had problems breathing.  I would give anything to go back in time and have that situation changed.  I'm ashamed to admit it but heck no one knows me here - I have cried a lot over my birth experience.  I am hoping and praying that I get that messy baby plopped onto me to hold and kiss and snuggle....blood, vernix, poop, etc. and all.

I'll be lucky if any pictures of my daughter come out. I'm the photographer in the family, my husband has a degree in physics and yet cannot seem to operate a camera to save his life. I've given him tutorials, it is sad.

Ha. Ha. Same here. To make matters worse I just sprung for a new fancy digital. The first bump pic he took of me I have blue lips and cheeks because somehow he got it in the color swap feature!
