Possibly stupid question

Did anyone not find out they were carrying multiples until their big u/s? I'm not very far along, haven't had an u/s or heard a heartbeat, yet I occasionally have the strongest feeling that there's more than one in there. Am I nuts?

We found out very early because of IVF but I have some friends that did not find out until the big u/s.  You are not nuts!  You never know!

Found out at 18 weeks we were expecting identicals twins

We found out at 12 weeks at our first u/s, otherwise we would have found out when they did our NT scan at 13 weeks.

Wow!  I was surprised with twins, I can't even imagine what that must have been like!!

I found at a 5 weeks.  My gyno no longer practices OB, so she had to scan me to ensure my pregnancy was viable before referring me to her OB friend...so I found out early, spontaneous fraternal twins!

::raises hand::  found out at 19.5 weeks we were having spontaneous identical twin boys.  I also had an u/s at 8 weeks, the whole twin thing was completely missed.

Yeah, finding out about triplets at 17 weeks was a HUGE shock.  I honestly suspected that I was pregnant with twins - I became ridiculously huge between my appts at 13 wks and 17 wks.
