I was reading your response to the maternity leave question below, and I was wondering why you are not even covered by the Pregnancy Disability Act. That's crazy! Of course I don't know the ins and outs of the law, I just found it odd that you don't qualify.
I am hoping for the best for you and that your employers are more supportive than you expect. That has to be a real uneasy feeling.

Re: ** notguilty **
hopefully they'll surprise you with a great mat leave plan!
i have a friend who just had to deal with an employer that doesn't qualify for FMLA and had never dealt with an employee who needed maternity leave. She was happy when they offered her 12 weeks (unpaid, like FMLA). She was worried they'd want her to come back in 6 weeks, which is what they currently had for a sick leave policy.
Butting in. I was in this same situation with DD. I hesitated on telling them, but finally did at 15 weeks because my m/s was showing up at work a few times. They were great, and completely accommodating even though I was sure it would mean trouble for me at work. We went through a big group split (down to a group with less than 15 employees) a week after my BFP. I had to choose which side I was staying on (so hard...especially thinking ahead to what is best for baby afterward), and keep the pg hidden. I was afraid neither side would want to take on someone who was going on leave so soon after the new groups started. It all worked out, and I so hope your situation is better than you are imagining it will be now. I know burdening the profession all too well. They might understand more than you think they will.
