I've been doing some reading about increasing the dosage for clomid and it seems that if you ovulate, you don't need to increase the dose. Is this true in all cases?
This is my 3rd cycle of clomid and my doctor said if I'm not pg this cycle he would increase my dose to 100mg to see if that did the trick. I've ovulated all 3 times and have responded well to the drug. I questioned him about it and he said it's worth a shot and might increase the quality of my ovulation, but if I wanted to stay at 50mgs we could. Either way, this is the last cycle of clomid before moving to something else, so I'm wondering if I should try the 100mg...
Has anyone increased their clomid dose after responding to it on a lower dose and get pg that cycle?
Re: Question about increasing clomid dose
I have heard of doctors increasing the clomid dose to have a better quality of egg.
I am on 150mg Clomid and my dr said my egg is good and strong and I refuse to go up any higher in doses because 150mg gives me so many side effects.
