Anyone get answers from an RPL panel??

I just had my 4th miscarriage this week and am scheduled for my  RPL in 2 weeks.

I am so very sorry for your losses.

For me it was sort of a yes and no.  I had a few things off here an there, but nothing drastic to indicate the exact causes!  It did indicate I am a little poly cystic, and have some blood clotting issues.  I was treated with Metformin, baby asprin, heparin and progesterone (at BFP) and am due to have my little boy in 7 weeks!  Good Luck to you. 

I know about equal amounts of ladies have received a definite answer vs not!

Sorry for your losses.  I've had 3 myself, and it seems to get harder each time.  I had a partial RPL panel (autoimmune disorders & thyroid level) done after m/c #2, which didn't reveal any problems.  A full panel (which included clotting disorders) was done after m/c #3 and revealed slightly decreased protein S activity as well as heterozygous MTHFR.  

Many doctors recommend supportive treatments (vitamins, baby aspirin &/or progesterone supplements) for future pregnancies, even if no cause for the losses is found.

I wish you weren't going through this.  Hopefully, you'll get some answers soon.

yes. For some reason these things were not found when my old OB/GYN did them. thank god I changed. They used to tell me suzanne why are you looking for a reason. UMM because there has to be.

 I went to a fertility clinic and an RE did the workup again.

Alot of what is found is in my blog and siggy.

Ive had a lap that removed a septum and took baby aspirin when I was pregnant with my son.

I just hope they figure out something soon.

I'm sorry for your losses.  I had an RPL done after my 3rd m/c and did find out that I have a blood clotting disorder.  Compound hetero MTHFR and I had to be put on baby asprin and other supliments to stay pg.  GL with your panel and once again, sorry for your losses.

ETA:  I had my DH go with me and am very glad because they took 16 vials of blood from me and I couldn't drive after for a few hours.  Just something to think about in case you're an easy fainter like me.

i'm so sorry you are going through this. My RPL was done after my 2nd loss. My new OB was was understand and willing to test early. The clotting factor for the antibody Anticardiolipin came back a little off so he put me on baby aspirin. He also put me on progesterone with this BFP as a precaution. My test showed normal levels there, but with the last m/c they were really low-his opinion was it was low because the pg was already going bad, not that the pg was going bad because of the progesterone.

He didnt feel the clotting factor levels were hight enough to cause a loss either so I guess all of my meds are precautionary.
