**Philly Area Moms** help please

Aidan's doc found a slight murmur today at his 15 month check-up and wants us to see a cardiologist.

If you haven't used a pediatric cardiologist can you just tell me if you've had any experience with any of the following places:

CHOP (Voorhees)

Dupont (Voorhees or DE)

St. Chris (Washington Twp.)

I was reading an article a few weeks ago and CHOP was one of the most highly-rated children's hospitals in the entire COUNTRY, so I'd go with them, for sure. ?My sister had to go there as a child for her hearing impairment and they were the only ones who corrected diagnosed and treated it.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I have no experience with CHOP in Voorhees, but my daughter had 2 surgeries @ CHOP in Philly (just routine tubes/adnoid removal) and I had nothing but good experiences there.

One of my BFFs has taken her kids to DuPont for a few procedures and she had very good things to say about that place too. 

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with CHOP or DuPont.  They are both great hospitals with wonderful doctors/reputations.  Good luck!

CHOP gets amazing reviews all the time. I would check them out.

I would not take my boys to any other place besides CHOP. good luck!

No doubt CHOP or AI Dupont in DE, CHOP is better, but Dupont is right below it.  Every pedi that we interviewed with said if there was ever anything seriously wrong with DS to take him to either one of them.

Thanks! We've got an appointment at CHOP for September. I wish it was earlier!!! ugh. I feel confident going there though.

my nephew was treated at CHOP in Philly and what could have been a terrible experience was really very good. (His murmur resolved) CHOP is rating one of the best, too.
