Ped. Cardiologists

If you haven't used a pediatric cardiologist can you just tell me if you've had any experience with any of the following places:

CHOP (Voorhees)

Dupont (Voorhees or DE)

St. Chris (Washington Twp.)

Aidan's doc found a slight murmur today at his 15 month check-up and wants us to see a cardiologist.

I don't have any experience with a ped. cardiologist, but I really like CHOP.  My DD goes there for for her GI doctor and has had several tests there.  It is so clean and everyone is super nice.  My niece also goes to neurology there.  I highly recommend it, but don't know much about the other hospitals so can't compare it.

Sorry, I just realized you meant the office in Voorhees, I've never been there, just the main campus.

I don't have any experience personally, but I know ShinySparklyBubbles took her DS to a CHoP Cardiologist.  You may try paging her on the SJ Nest...I'm not sure she comes over here.

I recently had an u/s done by a cardiologist at the CHOP in Voorhees. It was a very good experience. The doc and staff were really nice and very informative. They saw a echo focus on my babies heart durning the 18 week u/s so I needed to have a follow up u/s with a specialist. I am really glad I went there. He eased a lot of my worries. Not to mention we were in and out within 45 min. without having to wait in the waiting room for more than 5 min..  Hope this was helpful. Good Luck!

I'm curious about this too.  Jacob had two VSDs that they thought resolved in utero, come to find out they did not.  We have our first appt at CHOP in Voorhees on the 8th.

Good luck to Jacob. I'm hoping things go well for both of us! I'm still nervous but feel good to be going to CHOP.
