We Have a Placement!

I know some of you know this from my blog, but i just had to share here too. Last Tuesday we received a placement for an infant boy!! We were shocked because we never expected an infant, plus we got the call Tuesday afternoon and had him Tuesday evening.

The downside is we're not really sure if he'll be with us forever or just for awhile, which I am not happy about. Our SW knew we only wanted to receive a placement if there was a very high chance that it would go the adoption route (we're doing foster to adopt with more emphasis on the adopt part). When we accepted the placement, our understanding was he was most likely going adoption, but now it sounds like everyone is clueless as to what might happen. I know there is always uncertainty, but it would be nice to have an idea of what might happen.

Anyway, we're loving having JJ with us and I can't believe it's already been a week! He's such a good little boy, sleeps through the night, and I always get complements from daycare about how great he's been. Did I mention he's super cute too?? LOL.
