Pregnant after a Loss

one more ? for those around 23-24 weeks...movement....

Ok...so last time I was at the doctor, she said you wouldn't feel CONSTANT movement till 26-27 weeks...well I just feel like I used to feel him a bit more than I do now (a week or so ago)...like 3-4 times a day and big kicks..now it is only a few times and they are bubbly....do you girls think this could mean he is just turned another way right now??

I know you ALL understand, I just can't wait to hold him in my arms and know he is safe....it is so hard not to worry about him all the time and that he is growing big and strong in there:)

just wondering how constant movement is for all of you:)

  • I have a pretty active little girl right now, but I wouldn't be too worried if her movement slowed down a bit some days. My OB also told me that movement is not consistent until 28 weeks.

  • Thanks Babs!  you are always so good about answerin!!  Funny, just a minute ago I felt him...like he is saying..MOOOMMMA, I am in here:) too funny!!  I just want to feel him more to know everything is ok...
I never got a doppler, but kinda wish i would have for days when I don't feel him much...just so i don't stress:)
  • My LO has been pretty quiet this morning, it kinda stinks but I am trying not to worry.

  • I've been feeling flutters since around 20-22 wks. Now they're getting stronger and stronger but not actual movements yet. Ob said it would be anytime after 25 wks so I am patiently waiting.

There were a couple of days where the flutters weren't as often as they had been. Just as I would say something to dh wham I'd feel a strong one. I blame this on him sleeping and being rather comfortable.

  • I'm only 21 weeks but I have noticed kicks at certain times a day and when I eat/drink only.  It's definitely not constant, and there are days that I don't feel her even during her normal times.  I'm just so happy to have th occasional reminder that she is ok in there in between appointments!!!

  • I remember having a few days when I barely felt her at 23/24 weeks. I attributed it to a growth spurt!  It definitely got harder/ more constant between 26 and 28 weeks - but even now she has some slower days.

I wouldn't worry if you at least still feel her some. I used my home doppler on some of the slow days just to reassure myself.

  • I have been feeling my LO a little more and more.  Some days it is consitant others days it is here and there.  I really think it is his positioning.  I also have an anterior placenta so no telling what he is doing in there.  :-)
