Pregnant after a Loss

anyone else having problems sleeping around 23w?

It has been fine, and then last night, I tossed and turned all night and when I would turn from side to side I would get a stretching pain...mostly just when I would turn from left to right....my belly is there, but not huge or anything, so who knows how i am gonna manage when it gets GINORMOUS:) haha

Just wanted to see if anyone else is having a hard time yet, or if you get any pains when turning....I think I got a few RPL's this weekend, but nothing too bad....:)

  • That's so weird bc last night I was having trouble sleeping bc of some RLP too! I usually don't have a prob though, so hopefully it was just last night.

I had a good 3-4 weeks around 24-28 weeks where I had terrible back pain and could not sleep at all. I'd wake up every night and just be wide awake, sometimes for hours at a time. I thought, if it's going to be like this til the end, I'm in trouble!

Now though, I'm way more comfortable and sleeping great every night (knock on wood!) - I think that was just a weird period for me and my growing body! That might be the case for you ... though one night of bad sleep isn't anything to get too worried about.

  • I've had trouble sleeping since day 1. First tri it was from having to get up to pee, this tri it's from not being able to get comfortable to sleep. I toss and turn all night because my hips hurt if I sleep on my side too long. And when I roll over I get major RLP. It sucks, but I've just been trying to deal with it.
  • I don't sleep well to begin w/ so add being pg and having to get up 2-3 times a night to use the bathroom and I toss and turn all night.

  • I went and bought that wedge thing by Boppy and it helps soooo much.  I was having trouble staying comfortable because it felt like my belly was stretching over to the side.  I highly recommend it!

  • I have been having a hard time sleeping since about 14 weeks.  I can not sleep through the night.  It is not because I am uncomfomfortable - I barely have a bump.  I am not sure what it is.  Probably the hormones.  Latley I fall asleep good, but wake up and can not go back to sleep.  I guess it is my body getting used to a baby waking up at night.
  • I had that too. It started around then and I went and bought a snoogle pillow which worked wonders for me.  Now it does not help at all though.
