I like Sawyer for a boy as long as the last name isn't too last namey (like mine, Franklin) cuz then it sounds like two last names.

We have been throwing around "Lost" names. But I ALMOST named my dog Sawyer haha! I love the name! I ended up naming him Pete, so just goes to show that I love human names for doggies!

I like the name. When I was naming my dog I actually thought of the literary character before the Lost character. But either are cool!?

I considered Desmond as well. We really like English names (if it is a boy we are going with Brooks). But I also thought of using Locke as a middle name, if it went with the first name.

We probably aren't using any Lost inspired names. However, I do like the name Evangeline for a girl haha!!?

This name is on our list!  We both love it.  But I have a feeling we'll be afraid of the Lost effect, so we'll probably change our mind.

Sawyer is actually a name we have thought of (boy).. all of the kids have last names as firsts, Tayler, Kennedi and Carter....we have a long list though!!

ahhh Sawyer... he's my TV husband!  i associate him with Sawyer from Lost -love love love him!  but it can be girl or boy..

My DH & I really like it for a boy or a girl.  We considered it for awhile but then decided against it because our friend's son's name is Sawyer.  We liked it and we do not watch Lost...

I usually only like traditional names, but the name Sawyer is really good!!! People probably won't tend to think too much of Lost in the future, they'll probably think more of Mark Twain (because it's more of a classic than Lost, sorry Lost fans!).

LOL i LOVE the name Sawyer... boy or girl, but especially girl.  we are HUGE "Lost Nerds" in this house, though... 

sadly, we can't use the name becasue we did name our dog Sawyer! she is a girl, so it throws people for a loop for a second, but then i say, "you know, like the hot guy on Lost?" and then they go, "AH!" LOL

Nothing I actually LOVE the show.  She asked why we thought of the name.  I thought of LOST.
