xp: milk only expressed during let down while pumping

I've noticed that when pumping my milk is only expressed during that first two minute let down phase.  Am I doing something wrong or are my shields too big/small?

I'm using a hospital grade medela symphony.

I've noticed that the main chunk of mine is expressed then as well, but then if I keep pumping I get more.  Just at a much slower rate.

is there a let down button where you can turn that back on?  i do that with my medela advanced PIS

Me too.

But don't quit after that. My LC said you need to go 15 mns so your brain gets the signal
