what is the timeline after the mapp class?

finger print, homestudy ect. does anyone know all the steps? If you are currently fostering how long did it take before you actually got a call for placement?Thanks so much!

When we took MAPP in Florida, we completed a LOT of preliminary paperwork for the home study while taking the classes. It was like homework.  After we completed the classes, we did the fingerprints.  They came back in like 3 days.  Once we were licensed, we got a call in a week.

We finished our homestudy July 15 and we haven't gotten a placement yet.  We were told 1 to 24 months, but we are also doing straight adoption of a foster child, so I"m sure those wait times are longer.

Were in florida also and we are getting homework to do also just wasnt sure as far as finger printing home study if its months after the licensing that you actually finish anything else required .  thanks ladies
