Pregnant after a Loss

XP: When does movement slow down in 3rd tri?

I also posted on 3rd tri board..........Not that she has ever been really active (anterior placenta makes it hard to feel) but what I have felt at different periods has slowed down. They did a NST on me last week and all was well.....but I am worried :( How am I to know if something is wrong?)

Re: XP: When does movement slow down in 3rd tri?

  • I think it is a little different for everyone. My baby was quite a kicker up until 33-34 weeks, then the movement felt more like waves. I think she ran out of room for kicking and punching. She has definitely slowed down this last week or so. I still feel her hiccups and once in a while, she will move from one side of the belly to the other. Not much else. Keep count of her movements and what time of day you feel them. It will help you (the rule of thumb is that you should feel 10 movements in a 24 hour period, although I don't know if this is different with having an anterior placenta.)
