Irregular periods....

On CD 47 with no period, I have PCOS so this doesn't surprise me much.  I was just wondering, during this time I have felt like I was going to start AF 3 or 4 times.  I thought maybe once was ovulation, but I have never felt ovulation pain before.  Having killer lower back cramps.  Took PG test last week and BFN as suspected.  Does anyone else ever have all the symptoms of AF and no AF?  Also, I would like to start charting and was wondering if I can just start anytime or do I have to wait for next AF??  TIA!!

    Yes, I feel like this several times during my cycles. Since going off BCP's, I haven't had AF without provera.

    I am having a ridiculously long cycle and I started charting in the middle just to try and get the hang of it and now I am glad because I know how many days it has been for when I go to my doc in a couple of weeks.

    You really should start charting at the beginning of your cycle, but you could start now just to get into the habit of it. 
    dx PCOS on Metformin
    LO#1 - 19 cycles, 3 IUIs, 1 m/c, gonal-f, ganirelix, ovidrel, progesterone

    I had once cycle where I started cramping for a few days (when I expected AF) and didn't, negative test, sure enough, a week later cramping again and AF.

    I don't have PCOS, but I've been having the symptoms of AF for a couple of weeks now with out any AF.  I'm frankly tired of it.  AF come or give me a positive HPT.  preferably the latter.
